Installed over 1400sqft of permanent docks up on Cross Lake in Minnesota. Drove 8” dock piling 30’ into the lake bed. Piling docks are the most common type of permanent docking systems. Pilings are driven into the bottom of the lake or river. The rest of the dock is supported by these pilings, which help it to effectively resist the force of waves and other movements of the water. Adding riprap to a shoreline establishes a protective barrier that will prevent soil erosion from waves and water runoff. Riprap absorbs a majority of wave action and keeps dirt at the base from eroding away. Furthermore, riprap decreases the velocity of water running down sloped areas.
